What is a Video Splicing Processor?

A video splicing processor supports multiple-screen display applications with different resolutions. It helps to process various video input signals and output signals in real-time.

Application

NovaStar H9 is a powerful video splicing processor that supports multi-layer displays. A single card supports 16 x 2K layers, 8 x DL layers or 4 x 4K layers. All layers support cross-connector output and the layer quality is not reduced.

60FPS Processing

Support full 60 frame rates per second. Enable smooth playback and processing without delay or frame loss.

4 x DVI input card	10-bit input source. HDCP 1.4 compliant. Do not support interlaced signal input. Single link 4 DVI connectors are used as input. Support max resolution of 2048 x 1152 @ 60Hz and min resolution of 800 x 600 @ 60Hz. Dual-link Connector 1 and 3 are unavailable. Support max resolution of 3840 x 1080 @ 60Hz and min resolution of 800 x 600 @ 60Hz.
4 x HDMI input card	Do not support interlaced signal. 10-bit input source. For HDMI 1.3 inputs : HDMI 1.3 connectors support min resolution of 800 x 600 @ 60Hz and max resolution of 2048 x 1152 @ 60Hz. HDMI 1.4 connectors support min resolution of 800 x 600 @ 60Hz and max resolution of 2048 x 1152 @ 60Hz. For HDMI 1.4 inputs : Two HDMI 1.3 connectors are unavailable. Two HDMI 1.4 connectors are used. Support maximum resolution of 3840 x 1080 @ 60Hz. HDCP 1.4 compliant.
1 x HDMI 2.0 + 1 x DP 1.2	The default option is the HDMI 2.0 connector. Can choose to use the DP 1.2 connector. Use only one connector at one time. 1 x HDMI 2.0 Backward compatible with HDMI 1.3 and HDMI 1.4. HDCP 2.2 compliant. Support max resolution of 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz or 8192 x 1080 @ 60 Hz (forced). 1 x DP 1.2 Backward compatible with DP 1.1. HDCP 2.2 compliant.
