About LEAP: Crisis Communication
The LEAP Crisis Communication program, organized by KPJ Healthcare University Sdn Bhd, equipped healthcare leaders with essential skills to manage communication challenges during crises. From the start, the program emphasized clarity, empathy, and confidence as the foundation of effective communication. Leaders realized that strong communication does not only share information but also builds trust and reassures stakeholders in uncertain times.
Moreover, participants took part in interactive simulations that mirrored real-life healthcare emergencies. These exercises covered outbreak response, service disruptions, and high-pressure media handling. In addition, trainers guided leaders on how to balance transparency with reassurance, ensuring messages remain professional and compassionate.
Furthermore, role-playing sessions allowed participants to practice tone, body language, and delivery. As a result, they built credibility and confidence when addressing patients, employees, and the public. Group discussions also encouraged collaboration, reflection, and the exchange of strategies, which enriched the learning experience.
Consequently, attendees gained actionable frameworks that can be applied immediately. They learned that timely, empathetic communication strengthens organizational reputation while fostering resilience and unity.

Big Screen Media was beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to set up the P2.5 Indoor LED Screen, which has a screen size of 6 meters (W) x 2 meters (H) for KPJ Healthcare University Sdn Bhd at KPJ Damansara Specialist 2. This was part of the support team’s efforts in providing LED screen rental services for Leadership Ascendancy Program (LEAP).
