Operating 34 water treatment plants across 11 regions, they deliver a reliable water supply through advanced infrastructure and rigorous quality control. These regions include Petaling, Klang/Shah Alam, Kuala Langat, Sepang, Gombak, Hulu Langat, Hulu Selangor, Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, as well as the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Their integrated approach ensures consistent service while minimizing disruptions for consumers.

The journey toward becoming a unified water provider began on September 13, 2019, following the restructuring of Selangor’s water industry. This transformation started in 2008 when the Selangor government entrusted them with consolidating the fragmented sector. At that time, five private concessionaires—Puncak Niaga Sdn Bhd, Syabas, Konsortium ABASS Sdn Bhd, Konsortium Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, and Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Sdn Bhd—operated separately. Through a strategic acquisition and merger, these entities formed Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, streamlining operations under one management.

By integrating water treatment and distribution, they enhance efficiency, improves service delivery, and strengthens infrastructure resilience. Their vision is clear—becoming Asia’s leading water services provider by 2030.
