About Malaysian Kuwaiti Investment Co Sdn Bhd

Malaysian Kuwaiti Investment Co. Sdn Bhd (MKIC) was established on 6th September 1980 as a joint venture between the Malaysian and Kuwaiti governments. Formed after the Economic and Technical Co-operation Agreement of 1975, MKIC was initially involved in property, plantations, trading, manufacturing, and financial services.

Over time, MKIC shifted focus to concentrate on property development and oil palm plantations, divesting non-core activities. By 1997, the company fully committed to the oil palm sector.

Today, MKIC pursues a diversification strategy, expanding into large-scale broiler chicken projects, commercial coconut planting, and downstream coconut activities, ensuring sustainable growth and market resilience.
