About Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB)

The Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) is a pivotal organization in Malaysia’s rubber industry, dedicated to the advancement of rubber production and research. Established to promote the development and sustainability of the rubber sector, the MRB plays a crucial role in supporting rubber smallholders, enhancing productivity, and ensuring high-quality rubber products.

Recently, MRB organized the National Rubber Economics Conference 2024 at the Akademi Hevea Malaysia in Sg. Buloh, centred around the theme “Sustainable Natural Rubber: Transforming Commitment into Actions.” The conference gathered 250 participants, including policymakers, implementation agencies, industry players, and academicians, to share updates and ideas aimed at fostering a sustainable natural rubber industry that aligns with current global trends.

Located in the heart of Malaysia’s rubber plantation regions, the board engages in extensive research and development efforts to improve rubber cultivation techniques and explore innovative applications of rubber. Their initiatives include providing technical assistance and training to farmers, facilitating access to modern technology, and promoting sustainable farming practices.

The MRB also focuses on market development, advocating for Malaysian rubber on the global stage and ensuring that the industry remains competitive. Through strategic partnerships and collaborations, the board strives to boost the economic contributions of the rubber sector while addressing environmental concerns. Overall, the Malaysian Rubber Board is committed to fostering a resilient and sustainable rubber industry, benefiting both the economy and the environment.

Big Screen Media was beyond grateful to be given the opportunity to set up the P2.5 Indoor LED Screen, which has a screen size of 5 meters (W) x 3 meters (H) for Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) at Akademi Hevea Malaysia, Sungai Buloh.
